Sarah is a deserving finalist in the 2023 Awards. This is a strong portfolio of diverse technical webpages that explain complex information and tasks, and provide practical guidance.

The layout and presentation of these pages is a strength. The judges highlighted Sarah’s techniques, like frequent subheadings to break information into bite-size chunks, and using white space and consistent formatting to avoid clutter. These techniques help the reader absorb the material and make process steps easier to follow.

Sarah understands her target audiences well and has done a good job at catering to them. Her work has clearly had a positive impact.

I’m delighted to be selected as a finalist in the Best Technical Communicator category of the 2023 Plain Language Awards. I’d like to thank everyone who has played a part in my learning and development, especially Louisa Eades, Emma Harding, Dan Weal, Adrienne Sidal, and Melissa Taylor. Streamliners is a great place to work and I feel really supported in my learning. I’d also like to thank the Stronger Schools regional teams I work with. Together we create some really valuable content.
