Media statement

I’m thrilled that Capire was named a finalist for a plain language award. We’d like to thank New Zealand Police, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, SurfAid International, Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, and Behavioural Science Aotearoa for allowing us to share their excellent work with the Plain Language Awards judges.

At Capire, we help government departments and NGOs produce clear documents in plain language. We work with clients that have great ideas, proposals, plans and analysis to share. All their hard work deserves to be read and used, so that people benefit from it. We help them declutter their writing, so the key points are clear, and quick and easy to read. By offering training and coaching in good writing skills, we’re also encouraging more people to write well and jump on board the plain language train.
