Lynne is the director of Laracy Communications — an Auckland-based consultancy specialising in professional writing training and plain language programmes.

Lynne trained as a journalist and held a range of roles in mainstream media and in health and public sector publishing. In 2006 she started her own training company.

Lynne’s focus is on helping organisations make a culture change in how they write, so that clear, concise, plain language writing becomes the norm. She does this by reviewing writing standards, developing writing guidelines, advising on templates and pro forma documents, and by training staff in clear workplace writing.
