With a background as a grant writer, Laura previously founded and directed her own creative strategy business, where she helped artists and creative organisations secure funding and build partnerships by communicating their work in a straightforward and effective way.

Laura was a judge for the Plain Language Awards in 2023. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and French from the University of Oxford, where she served as Student Council President. She believes that:
