Judge: Best Plain Language Technical Communicator

Emma Harding has worked as a technical communicator since graduating in 1989 – she’s had a long career wearing out keyboards and thinking about words.

She is a joint founder and director of Streamliners Ltd and SchoolDocs Ltd, two businesses based on knowledge transfer, with technical writing at their core. In her current role as Writing Systems Manager at Streamliners, Emma focuses on tools and processes to support a writing team of over 60 people.

Emma has a BA Hons in English (Linguistics) from the University of Canterbury and is a former president of TechCommNZ, the membership association for professional technical communicators in New Zealand.
