With a legal and business background, Dana recognises the importance of clear communication. Dana has over 20 years’ experience working with public and private organisations in Australia as a communication consultant.
She has researched the readability of government documents with members of the public, and her findings highlight the value of plain language and good information design.
Dana has published several academic articles, which show the value of plain language principles as well as a need to rethink how we understand writing skills. She also lectures at Macquarie University.
